Participant Highlight: Alina
Since joining YC in 2023, Alina has enthusiastically embraced just about every program we offer—from soccer and ceramics to football, campfire cooking, and even holiday theater. She’s truly a chameleon, bringing her infectious energy and competitive spirit to every activity. It’s no wonder she’s known as the life of the party wherever she goes!
Alina’s humor and charisma brighten any room. She’s often the first to crack a joke or share a funny comment that has everyone laughing. Her energy is contagious, spreading to her volunteer partner and everyone nearby. But behind her fun-loving nature, Alina is fiercely dedicated to whatever she takes on, tackling every challenge with unstoppable drive.
One of her favorite activities is soccer, where she consistently brings her “A” game. As a massive Ronaldo fan, Alina loves doing his iconic celebration and often reminds her teammates why he’s the best (especially compared to his rival, Messi!). Her competitive spirit and enthusiasm make her a natural leader, inspiring those around her to perform their best.
Her talents extend beyond the field too! At campfire cooking, Alina has wowed us all with her culinary skills. Her signature campfire pizza, topped with perfectly placed pepperoni and veggies, was an instant hit. And her walking taco? Packed with cheesy goodness, it could rival any food truck!
On the cycling trail, Alina shines as well. She zooms around the track with speed and confidence, leaving others in the dust. Her skill on a bike has made her a true standout, and it’s no exaggeration to say she’s on her way to becoming a cycling expert.
Alina’s passion, humor, and drive bring joy to everyone at YC. We’re lucky to have her in our community and can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll continue to accomplish!
