YC Celebrates Excellence at the Third Annual Awards Night
Youth Challenge held its third annual Awards Night on Thursday, November 5. Just as many schools and other recreational programs have end-of-the-year awards banquets, so does Youth Challenge. Participants and volunteers were recognized at Awards Night for excellence in sports, arts, and moral character.
Keynote speakers were participant alumna Lauryn DeLuca, the youngest wheelchair fencer to compete in the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, and volunteer alumna Mary Sessions, a strong social justice advocate in Northeast Ohio.

Congratulations to all this year’s Awards Night winners for representing the best of YC culture!
