Participant Highlight: Evelyn & Elaina

Evelyn and Elaina are twin sisters who are eager to join YC for anything it offers —sports, arts, silly games, you name it!

This season, we have seen them at Swimming with the Cleveland Heights High School Swim Team, at Mini Camp, and at Goofy Games programs with Mayfield High School students, At Swimming, they loved playing “What Time Is It, Mr. Fox?” in the pool with their Swim Team volunteer partners. Better swim away quickly to avoid being caught by these speedy Mr. Foxes!

During Mini Camp at the Cleveland Children’s Museum, Evelyn and Elaina could be found shopping for fruits and veggies at the Farmer’s Market in Adventure City or blowing bubbles and learning about the properties of water in the Wonder Lab. They were determined to try every activity in every room and loved every single one. You could even stop by their doctors’ office for a check-up!

If you need people to play Goofy Games, Evelyn and Elaina are your girls! They make fantastic teammates in Snakes and Ladders Sitting Volleyball, but be prepared to hand over your leis if you’re playing Ro-Sham-Bo because they are rock-paper-scissors champs! Keep an eye out if you’re playing Sardines, because these girls are sneaky hiders.

Evelyn and Elaina truly are a dynamic duo, and we look forward to hanging out with them more this summer! Their enthusiasm and energy are infectious, making every program more fun and lively. Whether they’re diving into new experiences or winning games, they bring a special spark that lights up the entire group. The twins’ boundless energy and eagerness to participate make them stand out in every activity. They embody the spirit of YC, always ready to jump into new adventures with big smiles and open hearts. Evelyn and Elaina remind us all of the joy and excitement that comes with trying new things and making lasting memories with friends. We can’t wait to see what other fun times we’ll share with them in the future!
