Jen Taggart is the Development Coordinator. Her responsibilities include writing grant proposals, sponsorship letters, and content for social media and the e-newsletter. In addition, Jen assists with fundraising events. She brings a variety of experience in development and communications in the nonprofit sector, including a one-year internship in the development department at Make-A-Wish of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. In addition, she has applied for hundreds of thousands of dollars as a freelance grant writer. In Jen’s free time, she co-founded a group for adults with physical disabilities at her church. She is also a national speaker and writer on disability awareness.
Jen has been a participant at Youth Challenge since 2004 and is still actively involved in alumni programs. She is honored to give back to the organization that has made a major impact on her own life as a young woman living with cerebral palsy.
Education
Jen graduated from Cedarville University in 2017 with a degree in journalism.
