Holiday Show Highlight: The Kris Kringle Show

 The YC family gathered on Saturday, December 13, for our annual holiday show. This year, the Holiday Show moved to Sari Feldman Auditorium at Parma-Snow Library and nearly packed it out with almost 400 people!

Over the course of eight weeks, participants and volunteers worked together to write, direct, and rehearse skits of this year’s production. This year, Santa hosted his own variety show—The Kris Kringle Show! Skits included singing, dancing, drumming, basketball, comedy and more. Our participants and volunteers entertained and amazed us with their talents, tricks, and glad tidings!

During the holiday show, Youth Challenge recognized endowment funders, the top 10 teen volunteers, and the volunteer of the year. The volunteer of the year was Sarah Harbottle. She was chosen for the award because of her 20 years of service and leadership as a teen volunteer, YP4YC member and now trustee. Here are the top 10 West side and East side volunteers:

Not only did holiday show guests get the chance to see a WOO-nderful performance, they also were the first to hear from Chris about a special board match for year-end gifts! The board will be matching all online gifts to YC through December 31.
