In 2009 the Youth Challenge Board of Trustees made the decision to drop all program fees in order to include every child who needs the services we provide (read press release here). Raising a child with a disability is very expensive and many families were not able to afford to send their child to year-round programs. Youth Challenge secures funds from individuals, businesses and organizations to support participants through our Sponsorship Program. Sponsorships are used for the participant's program costs and directly impact their lives and their families.

A sponsorship opportunity is a great way for friends to help Youth Challenge offset the waiving of fees. For $1,500 a year, you can ensure that one of our participants can take part in all of YC's programming. Partial sponsorships are available for $500 each and cover programs during summer, fall or winter sessions. Donations of smaller or larger sizes are also appreciated.

In 2011, we anticipate over 150 unduplicated children and teens with physical disabilities to be involved and in need of some type of sponsorship (full or partial). If you have any questions about sponsoring a child, please contact Youth Challenge at (440) 892-1001.
