The Youth Challenge headquarters is a facility where everything is located under one roof; a place for fun, for growth, for learning and discovery.
In June 2008, Youth Challenge moved into our new home at 800 Sharon Dr. in Westlake, Ohio. YC now has increased programming capacity through owning our own home. Having completed a $2 million Capital Campaign, we now thrive in a highly functional facility which is utilized by hundreds of participants, volunteers and community partners.
In early 2009, we welcomed the installation of the gym floor, weight training equipment and basketball hoops into our gymnasium. We open our doors to each participant and teen volunteer who cares to venture into these corridors and embrace a spirit of camaraderie, healthy competition, exercise and accomplishment. In addition to the gym, "Courtney's Courtyard" and the volunteer resource room provide space for that to happen.
A quarter century ago we vowed to create an environment where children and teens mutually benefit each other through sports. This literally, figuratively and physically became a reality through the myriad of recreational opportunities we have traditionally offered. Now it happens under our own roof too!
The legacy of children and teens lifting each other to new levels of compassion remains our mission. Through YOUR caring we have inspired them to do the same. We sincerely thank our supporters, beginning with our Board of Trustees, and each of you for lending your dollars, hours and prayers to our efforts. Our front door is open and we welcome your visit anytime.
Thank you!
